The parishioners of Betalbatim gathered in huge numbers to witness the first 7 stations of the cross. It was a proud moment for the whole village to see the talented betparkars act , sing to the glory of God.
Listening to the melodious voice of Cielda Pereira , the darling of the crowd was the icing on the cake.

| Jesus is condemned to death |
In this scene the daughter is a God fearing child contributing in the Church activities but the son goes astray enslaved in the social evils of betting on bull fights and gambling. The father steps in and confronts the man who comes to collect his gambling money and warns him about his evil doings of encouraging the young innocent boys gamble. The mother realizes her role as a upright mother that could save her son from the present day evils.

In this scene the parents stop their daughter from leaving her husband and son due to minor misunderstandings in the family. They remind their daughter that once she is married she cannot leave her husbands house. The young boy is left heart broken to see his grand mother offering to live the house so that peace prevails and decides to go with her.

Here a young boy is wrongly framed and put behind bars, the mother stands tall by confronting the corrupt Police inspector. The mother later gets a shock of her life when she gets the news of her daughter commit suicide ( suspicious circumstances ). Asocial activist comes to the rescue of the young boy and points to the man in uniform about having and option to be an upright police officer.
The Police officer falls into the trap of wrongs with his promotion in mind , but realises his folly and turns a new leaf.
