His Excellency Archbishop-Patriarch, Most Rev. Filipe Neri Ferrão was presented the dvd 

" An evening with Cielda " 

on 30th April 2015, as 122 candidates received the sacrament of confirmation. It was proud moment for Cielda Pereira , and her mother Tr. Joanita as Rev. Fr. Pascoal Afonso did the honours in the presence of Asstt. Priest Fr. Milagres.

Copies of this dvd are available with the Parish Priest and the proceeds of the sale will be used towards the completion of the St. Jude's High School Hall , Betalbatim. which is under construction.

WINNERS of the Fishing Contest

This event in Betalbatim created a bond between the old and the younger generation as they gathered for this initiative by " JIMSON CATERERS " It was welcome gesture to see Fr. Pascoal Afonso , PP of Our Lady of Remedios Church , Betalbatim and Fr. Luciano , son of the soil ; join the crowd and try their luck in fishing. The T_SHIRTS provided for the contestants created an environment of uniformity and oneness as everyone proceeded to the marked areas in this age old tradition of SKILL, PATIENCE  AND LUCK.

Glimpses of the Fishing Contest held on 26 April 2015

Registrations started at 3.30 p.m as the young and the old walked their way through the field and "band" merrily whistling along the way. The officials from "JIMSON CATERERS" had everything organised systematically , the rules were displayed and the fishing rods were inspected before the contestants proceeded to the pond. Proper gear for fishing helps in a good catch

1. The first 50 participants will be considered, so register at the earliest with the below mentioned person.
2. Eligibility is 10 years and above, FREE ENTRY.
3. Participants should get their own fishing rod and other things required of the contest.
4. Participants report by 3.30 pm for registration.
