Betalbatim beach may be a sort after spot, to chill, relax or have fun. But on 26th Jan. 2016 the betpatkars flocked to the grounds to gather and dine as one family. The Family day was a grand success, thanks to the overwhelming response by the parishioners of Betalbatim.
The evening planned and organised by PPC had a mix for everyone. Fr. Pascoal Afonso welcomed the parishioners and Fr. Milagres was seen mingling with the crowd and later helping out at the dinning section . The african dancers performed some captivating acrobatics including fire eating and limbo dance. There were skits and comedy that had the whole crowd in laughter.
The magician Junior Marco enthralled the audience with his magic. The band Rhythm Nation duo lead by Dixon had the evening of mixed music. The kids danced till they sweated, the penguin dance which is a favourite, had the kids dance in circle and even requested Dixon to play is once more which he obliged
